One of the best Mexican restaurants in the state. EVERYTHING is good. What a find!

Highly upset with what I was served today. One bowl of soup was $8.49. Chicken tortilla soup that was all broth and tortilla strips, which were in my soup and soggy, not on the side. I was charged extra for everything but the tortilla. $15 for chicken broth and a taco is outrageous. Never ordering again.

Breakfast tacos were good. Good taste and size. The only reason I didn't give them 5 star rating was because I didn't have that, "dang these tacos are amazing" type of reaction when food hits your tastebuds. I recommend it and can easily be a go to breakfast joint for anyone. A little inconspicuous, hidden place but it's got some good food nonetheless. UPDATE: Months later we came back in the afternoon and the menu said they served breakfast plates all day and since the wifey was craving breakfast, we had breakfast at 6 pm lol. We had the migas plate and it was as good as it were in the morning.

I recently moved away from the area and this restaurant is badly missed! I LOVE the beef empanadas and caldo! I have yet to Dina another restaurant with the same great taste in my new location. If you’d looking for a great quick Mexican bite for a great price head to Rancho Alegre!

It was a to go order,the tacos were delicious,guisada taco,meat was tender,juicyand good flavor. The chorizo taco was just the right amount of seasoning and juicy.

Don't let the fact that this place is a hole in the wall fool you. For the money this place is exceptional. While in recent months other Mexican restaurant establishments have raised their prices on food and drinks, this place hasn't. Breakfast tacos are good and the enchiladas are fantastic. May I recommend the enchilada plate with chile con carne -- the best plate I've had in years. Service is exceptional.

Absolutely love this place! My family and I used to come every Sunday but we haven't been able to come as often in more recent years. Still, the food has always been delicious and I've never had a complaint about the employees. Always very nice to come here

I love this place. I am a very regular customer at this restaurant. The veteran waitstaff are always great, very welcoming, and remember their regulars. I have tried about half of the menu and have enjoyed everything. Breakfast is available all day. Over the many years there have been a few mistakes, when talking to management all were taken care of immediately to my satisfaction. Tortillas are made by hand as they should be. Morning taco rush is huge here. It should go without saying that paying cash speads up the line, but this business does accept credit cards. NO CHECKS. Beverages will include sweet,or unsweetened tea, canned sodas, and bottled beer. Decent to quite large portions for very fair prices. Daily breakfast,lunch, and dinner specials. Really like the burgers also. I have them put the Jack cheese(white) grilled jalapenos, and guacamole on it. One of my favorites in town.

This is a wonderful family restaurant. The food is so delicious always hot when they deliver to your table. Always friendly and kind very professional. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Simple. I have lived here in San Antonio most of my life. Mi Rancho isn't fancy but I pass many Mexican restaurants on the way to eat there for lunch. (That should tell you something) Never had a bad meal here. Not even once.

I love this place, I am glad I found it. I drive all the way from the westside for their Chicken Tacos. I haven't found chicken tacos like this in over 30 yrs. Just the Best.

Extremely authentic Mexican food! So far we have only tried the tacos but now I'm constantly craving this place, so I know I'll be back soon. Their homemade lemonade is also super yummy! New go to spot!

Where do I start? This place is amazing!! I stumbled upon this amazing authentic Mexican Restaurant on a road trip to San Riverwalk. The reason for the visit was all the great reviews, they weren’t wrong!! The food is amazing! The staff is amazing! The food cane out promptly and hot! Hands down the best Mexican breakfast I’ve had in a long time! The prices are very inexpensive. Bottom line... it’s worth the journey off the beaten path to enjoy this gem. It now is on my list of must stop when I’m in the area!! Keep up the great quality of food, keep up the great service and keep up all the flavors!! It’s crazy I found this place surrounded by other Mexican restaurants. I will always return!!! Thank you!

I love this place! They have the best pork chop breakfast plate, very flavorful and just enough seasoning..Amazing!! The carne guisada is on point and bean and cheese taco with fresh flour tortillas is good like the tacos grandma made. If you have not tried this place you should.

I am there 3 times a week. I love the service that they provide and the food is excellent. The girls are always smiling and they go out of the way to provide a great service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

Love this place, great food at great prices. Friendly staff and the atmosphere always reminds me of when I was a kid back home, Family.

If I could give negative stars I would. Ordered the special, took them over 20 minutes to bring out, special comes with flour tortillas, had to wait an additional 10 minutes for that after I had already got the plate. Waitress was not rude but slow. Had to tell her 3 times on everything. Overall that was the first and last time I will ever go there.
